So you want to RP a Mer? Great!  Mer culture, lore, and tradition is rich and spans back to a time well before the elves.  This is meant as a stepping stone to help you develop your Mer-sona to help create rich and meaningful RP.  With most of our blue planet covered by water, it's little wonder that, centuries ago, the oceans were believed to hide mysterious creatures including sea serpents and mermaids. Merfolk are, of course, the marine version of half-human, half-animal legends that have captured human imagination for ages.
